Manhattan Tour : Week 1

Just a quick post while Javi and Kim play Tekken 5 and I'm waiting for everyone to get hungry for Mom's Sinigang.

Javi and me at Riverside, 113th St.

It's been a week since the two ladies arrived, and so far we have taken them to the East Village, up and down 5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, 53rd and 6th, the NYU area, K-Town, Columbia University, and all the way down Riverside Drive by bus.

East Village

For Kim's birthday, Javi and I bought the two of them tickets to see Wicked! I was able to get them partial view tickets, which were still awesome seats, according to them. They were so happy that evening, and as soon as we got back to the apartment, they crashed on their bed - all tuckered out from a long but eventful day.
We still have a lot of days left for them to cover the other places that even Javi and I haven't been to - including an Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto up in the Bronx... who would have thought??? I hope that they've enjoyed their little tours around Manhattan so far. Maybe the pictures will clue us in on that:
David's Bagels (there's nothing quite like a New York City bagel!)
New York Public Library meets the bookworm from Manila
Lunch at 53rd and 6th. The best street meat in the world!
